Lost Horizon (Frank Capra, 1937)

Classic Capra fantasy. It's all a load of nonsense (and Shangri-La is remarkably colonial for a universal utopia), but pulled off with panache and some remarkable visuals. Wouldn't be such a bad thing if this replaced It's a Wonderful Life in the Christmas schedules every now and then.
